Since The Ritzier revealed that they give not a single fuck about me as an employee, I'm back to searching for a job. A second job, a new main gig...whatever. I'm open to anything that looks good and working the help wanteds like THAT is my job, with mixed results. So far I have an upcoming interview for a job at a very popular chain restaurant whose servers make crazy money (and they offer benefits! The benefits may suck, but since my current benefits suck and I do NOT make very good money this would still be a step up), an invitation to meet with the GM of a local southern-themed "farm to fork" establishment that needs servers and bartenders, a job offer from a local upscale dining establishment whose owner is unfortunately rumored to be a cokehead and whose entire kitchen staff recently walked out (per a co-worker of mine at The Ritzier who is banging one of their former sous chefs), and then there's that strip club that wants to hire me (I am going with "thanks but no thanks," because I don't think my self-esteem is currently up for walking around semi-clothed with a bunch of twenty-two-year-olds). Tomorrow is a VERY big day, and there's a good chance that I will have news of some sort in the next twenty-four hours, and am hopeful that better finances will help me feel less depressed in general. Good thoughts appreciated!
