Yesterday there was a Major Event downtown, which entailed numerous street closings and detours and wildly busy times at The Ritz, which was smack in the middle of the excitement. What This Meant To The Jews is that I ended up having to park a mile and a half from work and RUN to clock in on time (I know that it was a mile and a half because on my way back to the car I turned Runkeeper on, and walked at a much more sedate pace). The good news is, I'm a lot faster than I thought (apparently fear of being late to work is a powerful motivator) and can apparently run a mile and a half in seven minutes (??? - not to sell myself short but I question the validity of that result despite having checked the time when I left the vehicle and of course when I clocked in; it's possible my GPS is a bit off). The bad news is, EVERYTHING ELSE OMFG. Because either the run or the forty hours of work in seventy-two punctuated by a total of fifteen hours' sleep and complicated by the fact that ALL of my coworkers were late yesterday because "wahhhhh traffic" has done my back in entirely.
As in it's affecting my left leg and it hurts to move and probably I need some steroids but can't be arsed to leave the house.
So...yeah. How are all of YOU?
