* Skeeter has been neutered! We utilized a local nonprofit organization that provides low-cost spay, neuter, and vaccine packages, and they were very caring and did a great job. Skeeter actually came home with an extra fuzzy blanket that a volunteer KNITTED HIM because she thought he was "SO PRECIOUS." He's still a jerk, but now he's a neutered jerk in a festive holiday sweater (the spay/neuter place's giftshop to benefit needy pets had them for four dollars and they are SOCUTE).
* Hotter and I went to the dentist with our spanky new coverage and it's a good thing, because Hotter needs $2,100.00 worth of dental work (!!!). But after billing our insurance and writing off non-allowable amounts we'll only (???) pay about four hundred bucks, and that will come out of my medical flexible spending account. So really it won't even impact grocery money. I...guess this is what it's like not to be terrified of dental woes?
* Hotter's eye is recovering well from surgery.
* I'm off tomorrow but then I'm picking up two extra shifts outside my department in two days, because Hannukah is sneaking up on me and I need to be ready even though it's ALSO Turkey Prep Time. I hate it when that happens! I'm so getting fat again.
* How are all of YOU?
