I am having a really low-key day today. I definitely did a number on my upper back yesterday, and woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. So since I'm off I got straight into the tub as hot as I could stand it, and have been just lazing around reading and innernetting and chatting with Hotter. It's not what I planned to do today, but it's been kind of nice.
One thing I just realized, and mentioned to Hotter, that may or may not be a coincidence: I have not had to use my inhaler or nebulizer since I stopped eating gluten. I still have the odd coughing fit, but there's no wheezing, and I haven't had to take any antibiotics at all, either (this is significant since I was averaging two antibiotic prescriptions PER MONTH for a while there).
That? Is pretty damn cool.
In other news, from the department of Things That Should Not Amuse Me So, the appraiser came BACK out yesterday and found that the el cheapo contractor our landlord hired to do the insulation under the house and create a dryer vent (both things that needed to be done for the property to be up to code) didn't do a very good job. The insulation job he did is wrong AND incomplete, and the dryer vent he created vents UNDER the house, where the moisture is already causing mold. FAIL! So now our cheapskate landlord has to hire someone else to REdo the work the RIGHT way.
Karma, man.
How are all of YOU?

Karma. Word.
Hope back heals fast.
Also, more I think about The Bad That Is Gluten, the ragier I feel. Wait, is that how it works?
