Well, I did it. I gave liver "the old college try" today. Fresh, bled and soaked, never-refrigerated, young, grass-fed liver, the host-animal of which came from a loving home and which had been seasoned and fried with onions by an amazing cook. What I mean to say is, despite the insistence of many and the theory that the body craves what it needs, my anemic foodie ass DEFINITELY just hates liver! GAH! *herk*

That's how I feel about kidney. I've given kidney far too many chances. I know I don't like it. Really. I don't. Liver, on the other hand, I like in pate and I had some foie gras on New Year's Eve that was heavenly (ow, you over there, stop throwing things at me).
