Owwww my feet! Today was a long day on my feet at my main job. I was supposed to be off tomorrow but something came up and now it's going to be an even LONGER day on my feet (not that I'm upset--I need the hours!) at my main job, and then Saturday and Sunday are going to both be long days on my feet at my main job and for VARIETY after Sunday's shift I'm working a shift at my OTHER job.
Then after this week Job #2 is going to "get busy."
I checked my voicemail today and found that I had a message from my former boss from Temp Agency #2 (now defunct); she's signed on with a new staffing agency and would I like some work?
Talk about your feast or famine! The past couple of weeks I've been getting MAYBE fifteen hours a week at the main job, and as a result took the other job, and now I'm getting close to forty hours at one and will be getting at least twenty at the other and someone wants me to work some MORE (I will probably call her tomorrow and let her know I'm super-busy but that if she has a major event pop up and can let me know well in advance I'll try to make it work, because she is awesome and also it never hurts to have something in your back pocket)?
