* Hotter's computer got a particularly nasty Trojan that UNFUCKINGINSTALLED WINDOWS. So he had to reformat the hard drive. He has his windows discs, but his DVD drive is broken. He's not too happy about that. This is why I love my piece-of-craptop. It is from a big company and has a warranty. If this happened to me I could call a hotline and they'd send me a special box to put it in and give to the UPS guy and that would be that. Hotter built his computer lovingly by hand. No warranty. Boooo...
* I locked my keys in the MFA Minivan (yes, again) because I rock. That's not the yay, obviously. But this time I did it outside the local police station, and two police officers with a slimjim can break into my minivan even faster than a gang of chivalrous hobos with a "spay hook!" I'm always pleased when I get back into the minivan without bleeding in the process, and also it was pretty hilarious because they asked me first to say out loud that I would hold them blameless for any damage. Which I did, and then pointed out that it already looks like a crumpled beercan so I probably wouldn't notice another scratch or two, and the younger officer laughed and said if you squinted your eyes it looked kinda like an Old Milwaukee. And he was right! Gotta love an authority figure with a sense of humor :)
* I have a crummy tummy today, and am taking it kind of personally since I almost never get that.
* DVD drives are not nearly as expensive as I feared, and my two most recent checks for sponsored posts came today. Yaaaay!
* I grounded myself from the Twitter for a bit, and deleted it from The Precious, and now all my home-screen icons are in the wrong places, and nobody got to see the totally painless, mystery blood blister I got today on my knuckle. EVERYBODY LOSES!
* But hey, I'm off tomorrow. Yay!
What are your yays and boos today?

YAY! I wrote a controversial blog post yesterday and didn't get ANY hate mail (yet) from my conservative friends/family.
BOO! I saw a horrifically high number on the doctor's scale yesterday, and though I know the scale is a bit heavy (~7 lbs from past experience), it's still WAY higher than I ever wanted to see again without a full-term baby in my belly. So now I have to diet and run in the ridiculous Oklahoma heat to get this awful weight off.

Weight. BALLS! I have a little more wiggle in my jiggle after eating my feelings for the past week plus, and will have to switch back to my fat workpants if I don't cut it out. But working in a building with a high-end restaurant where one can wander back into the kitchen and snitch hot, seasoned steak fries with the skin on any time one damn well feels the need for some salt and potassium is...hazardous. To one's buttons. And co-workers' eyes.

Yays: Some stressy things are no longer stressy at all.
Boos: I have a headache for the second time this week.

Boos? More like seething, righteous indignity. Comcast rooked us into signing up for a service in which the video stuff was provided at no charge. We said no thanks we have no need for video and they said, 'no charge!' We said, 'no,' they said, 'faster internet for same price!' We said, 'ok.' A couple of months it seemed like they were not lying. Then a bill for $230 shows up for internet and VIDEO service. They would not talk about refunding it until we paid it and we have to call this other number and internet held hostage and blah, blah, blah. So we call other number. Must leave our number and get a call back in 45 mins. We do and are shocked, shocked I tells ya, hours later, no call back. What do they care, they have our money. DSL is getting a call in the a.m.
Yays? Um. Free tickets to Six Flags through the "Read to Succeed" program means some fun this weekend with the kid. No word on how they felt that she read "Animal Farm" voluntarily for a fun banned book club with pals.
Glad you had yays and no significant bleeding!
