So this isn't a real post, because I am so sick I don't even know what to do about it and, having survived a shift at work only through the benevolence of co-workers covering for me and one of them loaning me $5 to get home with (the MFA Minivan was on "empty" when we headed out on our ill-fated pharmacy run yesterday and has STAYED THERE because I am overdrawn, AGAIN) (clearly the zero on the "distance to empty" gauge is a liar as I made it TO work with only $1.75 scrounged out of the bottom of my purse), am about to sleep until it's time to go back there tomorrow (except to get up and take pills).
BUT.
My friend (and MFA Sponsor) Alex Taylor wrote a book, y'all!
Figure One: It's an Affiliate Link to a product of a sponsor on a personal blog and I feel like there should be some kind of disclosure here. Even though if like, fiddy of y'all buy the thing I probably only get a nickel.
I won't even try to give a plot synopsis or act like I've read this thing, because the truth is that it's hot off the presses and I have been too busy, crazed, and/or ill to read anything longer than a surgical consent form. I plan to review the book at a later, more normal date, although by that point there'll probably be a sequel and a miniseries, so maybe I should just cut to the part where you can download the book for free.
FREE! WHO DOESN'T LOVE FREE?
From Friday the 13th through Sunday the 15th, Alex is offering free downloads of The Wannabe Vampire through Amazon.com.
Good night!

Thank you so much for helping to get the word out. I really appreciate it!
