* New Weekend Warrior Job didn't need me this weekend. I am bummed about that, because this seems to be the start of a trend, according to my boss at Temp Agency #2. Of course, it's the off-season for such ventures.
* New Job #3, which we'll call Fairy Sweatshop Job, is moving right along. It suits my ADD nicely to have something I can sit down and do a few minutes of, then leave and come back to. Fairy Sweatshop Job is like eating a very sparkly elephant. At my own dining room table! I think it's a good fit for me for now and it's a real relief to have fallen into this with NWWJ kind of up in the air. It certainly won't pay my bills if something happens to my primary job, but it's a flexible something I can sit and do when I am worried to the point of needing something to do with my hands that'll actually help dig us out one spangled widgit at a time.
* Meanwhile, back at the ranch, PseudoCorp is fabulous. My new boss is so kind to me that I hardly know how to handle it. My previous job at PseudoCorp was...well. There was nothing wrong with it (aside from an unpleasant co-worker) but if the minivan broke down or I was sick and couldn't be at the office, I didn't think about it beyond calling in. With the new job I think about it off the clock, quite a bit, and I am getting to brush up on skills I'd almost forgot I have. This job is so awesome that I really wish I could tell you what an amazing thing they have arranged for me to do in the course of my duties, but when one gets an opportunity one would NEVER ordinarily have, one that few people even at the corporation itself have enjoyed, the chance to do something that, work-project payoff aside, will be an opening line at cocktail parties for the rest of my life...well. One keeps one's mouth shut so as not to ruin it, is what one does. Dang it.
* It's a good thing monies are coming in lately, because I have a plan for this year's garden that is...well. It has a lot of chutzpah and we'll see if I can do it as cheaply as I hope I can, or if not then we'll be very sad when I have to give up, but I am about 80% certain it'll be amazing.
* Oh! Speaking of monies, I am working on getting a complete media kit together, but watch the sidebar for some exciting new advertisers in the near future. If you were just thinking how sweet it would be to have your ad on my sidebar, let me know, because I'll want to give that a "that's what she said!" and also I can send you my rates.
* How are all of YOU?

Between your big ass garden and special media kits, you are now forever and always FANCY.

I'm... I'm having trouble adjusting to the idea of eating a sparkly elephant. Why are we eating it? Why aren't we riding it instead? Is it gold, silver, or pink glitter? I... I want a sparkly elephant...

What a gift, a job that provides you with a real challenge Go PseudoCorp. I'm also having a hard time gripping the sparkly elephant : )
