darling, YOU need another insurance company, fuck these guys! there has to be another insurance agency out there that can get you what you need without this type of bullshit hassle.

Um, failure to notify, premiums jacks w/out notice, and holding your premium "in escrow" while denying service is NOT kosher. Nor contractually permissable. I would really really encourage you to file a complaint w/your state's dept of insurance. It's usually an easy online form & the carrier is legally obliged to respond w/in X days. Best case scenario you could get credit for the "extra" premium you shouldn't have been forced to pay so you won't just be tilting at windmills.
