RETRACTION: Wells Fargo is good people!

   Okay, so my day has sucked royally, as y'all know, and honestly I'd kind of like to go curl up in a ball and cry for no good reason (well okay, I have PLENTY of good reasons but none of them are acute/emergent, I'm just in a bad way), but I had to come on here and make a retraction of my earlier post about Wells Fargo.

   I was wrong about Wells Fargo sucking; they do not suck at all.

   See, I've been venting here and on the Twitter, and apparently Wells Fargo's Social Web Team actually pays attention to what people are saying and reached out to me on the Twitter. They DMed me an e-mail address, I poured out my tale of woe, and they responded with a phone number for their Executive Response team. I didn't feel like calling anybody because I hate the phone on a good day but figured I was probably the jerk in the situation if I didn't follow through and called, and...they were NICE! It turned out that my account is still with Wachovia (which is in the process of being absorbed by Wells Fargo) and the Wells Fargo people couldn't even pull it up, which honestly? I wouldn't have been surprised if they'd been all "NOT IT!" and told me to eff off, but instead the Wells Fargo rep got a Wachovia supervisor on the line and patched her in on three-way to see what could be done.

   And reader, they apologized and refunded the three most recent overdraft charges. A total of $105, which put us back in the black by enough that I was able to purchase a three-day supply of Pristiq and THAT? Is amazing. They absolutely saved my arse, and I take back every ugly and profane thing I have said about them today. THANK YOU, WELLS FARGO AND WACHOVIA, FOR NOT BEING SOULLESS CORPORATE GHOULS AND FOR MAKING ME CRY IN A GOOD WAY.

   NOW I am going to go curl up in a ball and cry. I went ahead and took the other half of today's Pristiq and hopefully I'm back to my normal, non-weepy self tomorrow because OMG TODAY HAS SUCKED. Everybody go and bank with Wells Fargo and Wachovia. The end.
